Liquid Accounts is a market leading in online accounting software specialist. They create jargon free, user-friendly business accounting software designed to save SMEs and their accountants and bookkeepers, time, resources and money. The software is completely based, developed, stored and supported in the UK.
Customers can choose from a range of options to build a package that suits both their business and budget from just £20pm. Optional extras include payroll, multi-currency, stock control, purchase order processing, sales order processing, and job costing.
Each subscription includes a free Client Manager module that allows a bookkeeper or accountant to work with all their Liquid clients through one easy interface. Liquid also offers options for commissions and extra revenue streams through their Accredited Partner Programme.
The team behind Liquid started out designing bespoke online solutions for large companies, franchises, and multi-nationals, in 2001: long before other online accounting companies and long before the idea of 'cloud accounting' or online bookkeeping software even existed.
In 2005, they used this experienced to created Liquid Accounts and a flexible accounting package that allows businesses to choose from a range of enterprise-class functionality for a single low-cost monthly subscription.
In early 2010, Liquid raised over £3/4 million in investment, followed by a further £1/2 million in 2011. They have 3 Chartered Accountants on their Board, and an exited IT entrepreneur. Their MD, Matt Holmes, was the founding Chair of the Cloud Computing Special Interest Group for BASDA (the Business Application Software Developers' Association) and is on the governing body of the Cloud Industry Forum.
Liquid Accounts is accredited by both the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAEW) and the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) and has won Best Web-Hosted Accounting Software and Runner-up, Best Small Business Accounting Software at the national Software Satisfaction Awards.
